All students are to bring their stationery on the first day and are to wear full school uniform including sunscreen and school hat for sun protection.
Every day all students are to have their school bag packed with the following: a lunch box, drink bottle, hand towel, book bag & school hat.
Sunscreen is available on all of our classrooms for students to apply throughout the day however it is good if your child puts it on before school so they are protected while walking to school and for the first half of the day.
It is important that all belongs are clearly named so if lost that can be returned.

Our school daily timetable outline:
8:15am – Gates are open.
8:30am – Classroom doors are opened and morning routines are actioned.
8:50am – Bell goes and students are to be sitting in class ready for the day.
8:50-11:00am – Block 1
11:00am – Morning tea eating time (all students are to be seated outside classrooms and eat until the bell goes for playtime).
11:10am – Morning tea playtime.
11:30-1:00pm Block 2
1:00-1:10pm – Lunch eating time (all students are to be seated outside classrooms and eat until the bell goes for playtime).
1:10-1:50pm – Lunch playtime
1:50-3:00pm Block 3
Kelly Club is now operating the Before School Care & After School Care programmes at our school. Here is some information about their programmes and what they provide.
Welcome to Kelly Club Howick
We believe in giving kids opportunities to do the things they love and enjoy in a supportive and encouraging environment. We provide quality childcare in safe and fun surroundings for kids out of school.
Our Before School Care programme is a great way to start the day! It offers convenience to parents who need to drop their kids early in the morning, and provides a variety of fun activities for the kids to start their day with an alert mind, ready for school! Breakfast is also provided.
Our After School Care programme is focused on sports, cooking, arts and crafts activities as well as relaxation time around a busy day at school. Kids will be encouraged, learn new things and entertained during their time on our programmes.
Available Sessions:
Before-school – Full Session (7:00am to 8:30am)
After-school – 4.00pm Pick Up (3:00pm to 4:00pm) After-school – 5.00pm Pick Up (3:00pm to 5:00pm) After-school – Full Session (3:00pm to 6:00pm) Kea (junior) students who have signed up or Kelly Club will be picked up from the classrooms at 2:55pm before the school bell. Tui (senior) students have to walk to the school Hall after the 3:00pm bell.

Parents of Year 1 & 2 children please come and collect your child from outside their classroom for their first week while they settle into their new classroom and routines.
Please arrange with your child’s teacher the drop off and pick up arrangements for future weeks.
